I've been reading RSS feeds and managing email entirely within #Emacs (Elfeed and Notmuch) for a couple of weeks, and it's been...pretty good. It's less convenient when I just want to "check my mail real quick" but mostly it's fun, especially when I'm already /in/ Emacs.
